In a small street, hidden away in the heart of the Jordaan District of Amsterdam you will find our homely little Coffeeshop and Cake Specialist. It’s not big and fancy, we don’t sell weird strains or have a fancy menu. We do however focus on quality. We have been supplying some of the best products in the Jordaan for over 30 years, come rain or shine.

Around 1800 French soldiers occupied Amsterdam. It is known that the soldiers were stationed in this building, along with their horses, it was one of the many stables to keep the horses of Napoleon’s army.

At later time this building, and a few buildings next to it, we used by the local Fire Dept. and again, this building was used as a stable for the horses.
You can still find traces of the stable that comes from that period.

A few houses next to the shop, you will see a high slim building that is significantly higher then the rest. This was used as the ‘lookout’, so they can spot the fire easily and know where to go.
