Are coffeeshops open?
Yes currently Coffeeshops in Amsterdam are open to the public, however there are some restrictions.

EU entry ban for high-risk areas outside the EU/Schengen area

Negative COVID-19 test result
You must be able to show a negative COVID-19 test result. This applies to everyone aged 13 or over and even if you have been vaccinated. The type of mandatory negative test result you need depends on the mode of transport you use.

Health declaration
If you are travelling by air you must fill in a health declaration and carry it with you. Some airlines allow you to complete this health declaration digitally when you check in.

What are the current restrictions for coffeeshops?
According to the Dutch government
Indoor and outdoor seating areas at restaurants and cafés may be open from 06:00 to 22:00, under certain conditions.
- Each establishment may have a maximum of 50 guests.
- Each guest must be assigned a seat. Self-service is not allowed.
- No more than 4 people may be seated at a table, sitting 1.5 metres apart. However, this limit does not apply if everyone at the table is part of the same household or if the party includes children under 13.
- Sitting at the bar is not allowed.

What restrictions does Paradox Coffeeshop have?
The rules that apply to our coffeeshop currently are the following:
- Facemask is manditory.
- Keep 1,5 meters distance.
- You must make a reservation please call +31 20 623 5639
- If it is busy,you may sit for 1 hour.
- We have 7 seats inside and 3 outside.
